Recommended Practice Time

To see growth, progress and improvement, there is a need for consistent practice, because in music it requires repetition of the same muscle movement to gain comfort, familiarity and understanding of the muscular motion.

Practice time must not include any distractions, but in-between breaks are allowed, such as water break or toilet break.

There is a difference in practice commitment between wanting to do violin for fun and planning to do violin professionally.

Below are the recommended practice time grouped by age, between playing for fun or planning for a professional path.
